Your Child

We are here to help support your child.

If you are interested in our services, please call or email us.

We understand that navigating therapy can be overwhelming.

That's why we've implemented a key worker model. When you choose us, you'll have a dedicated main point of contact who will assist you with all your therapy needs. This ensures a seamless and personalised experience for you and your child.

Before therapy begins, we take the time to gather all relevant information about your child. This helps us match your child with the most suitable therapist and approach. We understand that every child is unique, and our goal is to provide the best possible fit for their needs.

We believe in setting clear, achievable goals to guide therapy. Before commencing therapy, we will meet with you and your child to understand your priorities. Your input is essential, as we want to target what is most important to you and your child.

Referrals can be made by anyone who recognises the need for therapy services for a child. Whether it's a concerned parent, teacher, paediatrician, or anyone else who cares for the well-being of a child, we are here to support you.

At AbleKids, we offer support to a wide range of clients:

  1. NDIS Plans: We work with children who have plan-managed or self-managed NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) plans.

  2. Medicare Care Plans: We accept referrals from healthcare providers for children on Medicare care plans.

  3. Self-funded Clients: For families who wish to self-fund their child's therapy, we are here to assist.

We understand that every child's needs are different.

That's why we provide a flexible approach to therapy. Our services can take various forms, including:

  • One-on-One Sessions: Personalised therapy sessions tailored to your child's specific needs.

  • Small Group Sessions: For clients with similar goals, we offer small group therapy sessions.

  • Intensive Therapy Blocks: Intensive therapy programs designed to accelerate progress.

  • Therapy Assistant Programs: A trained therapy assistant works with your child under the direction of a Therapist.

  • Home Therapy Programs: We can educate and support families to integrate therapy into their everyday lives.

  • Advocating and Assisting in the School Environment: We help your child succeed in a school setting.

  • Telehealth Services: Convenient virtual therapy sessions that allow us to connect with you wherever you are.

Support Where You Need It

Therapy can be provided in different settings depending on individual needs, in collaboration between the therapist and client. This includes schools, daycare, our clinic and in the community.

We complete regular visits to regional and remote areas each term and support these clients in between face-to-face visits.

We visit various areas throughout the Mid West and Gascoyne regions.
