About Us

AbleKids Therapy Services is a vibrant allied health practice based in the heart of Geraldton, on Western Australia’s stunning Coral Coast. Our community is known for its relaxed lifestyle, beautiful beaches, wildflower trails, and thriving arts

We provide a range of services including Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, and Psychology, supporting clients of all ages—primarily children with developmental delays and disabilities. We work with both NDIS participants and private clients, using a family-centred, evidence-based, and strengths-focused approach.

Our team also extends support to remote areas of the Midwest through a mix of in-person and telehealth services, including to Denham and Mt Magnet.

About the Position

  • This position focuses on the assessment and intervention for infants, preschoolers, and school-aged children experiencing developmental delays or challenges in everyday childhood activities.

    You’ll work with a diverse paediatric caseload, including children with:

    • Sensory Processing Difficulties

    • Cerebral Palsy

    • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

    • Developmental Delay

    Therapy services are delivered in a variety of settings, including our well-equipped clinic, as well as homes, schools, kindergartens, and childcare centres—wherever is most appropriate for the child and family.

    There is also the opportunity to extend your impact to remote communities across the Midwest region through both face-to-face outreach and telehealth services.

Qualifications

  • Relevant education and registration (SPA)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Western Australian Working with Children Check and WA Department of Education provider screening/NDIS provider screening

  • Eligibility for Medicare provider number

  • C Class driving license

Speech Pathologist

Open to experienced and graduate therapists

Job Type: Part or Full-Time

About the Position

  • This role focuses on the assessment and intervention for infants, preschoolers, and school-aged children experiencing communication delays, speech and language difficulties, and challenges in typical developmental milestones.

    You’ll work with a diverse paediatric caseload, including children with:

    • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

    • Developmental Language Disorder

    • Speech sound disorders

    • Social communication difficulties

    • Feeding and swallowing concerns

    • Cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions

    Therapy is delivered in a variety of settings, including our purpose-built clinic, as well as homes, schools, kindergartens, and childcare centres—wherever is most beneficial for the child and family.

    There is also the opportunity to extend your impact to remote communities across the Midwest region through both face-to-face outreach and telehealth services.

Qualifications

Physiotherapist

Job Type: Full or Part-Time

 We’re looking for a passionate Physiotherapist to join our growing team. In this role, you will:

  • Provide assessment and therapeutic support to infants and school-aged children with developmental needs, and adults presenting with a range of health conditions

  • Deliver early intervention and ongoing therapy for a diverse paediatric caseload, including children with conditions such as DCD, sensory processing difficulties, cerebral palsy, and ASD

  • Provide services in a variety of settings—clinic, home, school, childcare, and via telehealth

  • Travel to regional and remote communities as part of our outreach services

  • Enjoy a manageable caseload with dedicated time for planning and admin

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and external providers

  • Access a well-resourced clinic and opportunities for private practice experience

Qualifications

  • A recognised degree in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • WA Working with Children Check and Department of Education screening

  • Eligibility for a Medicare provider number

  • A valid C Class driver’s license
